"The initial group of guys stuck together, and it grew from there.There was really only one club, that being the san diego shores(Water polo)Club, and they were sort of an all star team. "Now, hamilton's teams are training for national junior olympic qualification.That extra motivation certainly helps, but as hamilton explains, his kids from carlsbad have thrived with their underdog role, and it's been a part of the young tradition of building a new program. "We had a target on our backs for eight years, so we're excited to be the underdog again,"Hamilton said. "We took down the 800 pound gorilla in the room 12 years ago when we beat the san diego shores team.We're happy to have that chip on our shoulders again. "
